Progessence Plus

Here’s what Young Living has to say about this fantastic blend!

Progesterone is a hormone found in both men and women that is generally associated with women’s health. It plays an important role in influencing menstrual cycles, pregnancy, and menopause. Genetic makeup, environmental influences, and other factors can negatively impact progesterone levels, which may lead to other imbalances in the body.

Progessence™ Plus serum, intended only for woman, is a good option for those looking to supplement progesterone levels. Expertly formulated by D. Gary Young and Dr. Dan Purser, Progessence Plus takes pure, USP-grade, super-micronized progesterone from wild yams and combines it with vitamin E and an essential oil serum to easily penetrate the skin for improved delivery. Containing frankincense, bergamot, and peppermint essential oils to aid in absorption, this product does not require the cycling of application sites as do most other progesterone products!

This oil has probably been the one I have been most excited about… I have PCOS and do not have any sort of cycle at all without either synthetic progesterone medication, or birth control pills… however I hate what each of those does to my body, and how incredibly sick they make me, so I was on a mission to find something that would help me, and was all natural! Little did I know that while I was getting into Young Living oils, that they had exactly what I was looking for!

I started using this oil around 6 weeks ago… now keep in mind that I do not have any kind of cycle AT ALL on my own… 3 weeks after I started using it I had a 2-3 day cycle… now we are 3 weeks after that, and I am having my second cycle!  This is AMAZING!  My body has responded so well to this!  I use it every single day, I just put a roller top on my bottle and I run it over the insides of my elbows and down the sides of my neck… I use it 2-3 times per day…

Another amazing thing, when I got mine, I also ordered one for a very dear friend who has endometriosis, and when I checked in with her today, she said all her symptoms were very much improved!  So I know from experience now that it not only helped me with my PCOS, but it also helped another person with endometriosis… I had heard from others that this stuff was very effective, but I’m the type of person that I need to test stuff out before I fully believe it… and boy, I am a believer now!

So thank you to D. Gary Young, and Dr. Dan Purser for your amazing oil blend! It’s been life changing for me! ❤

****Update as of 9/18/14**** I am still having my cycle EVERY SINGLE MONTH!  How AMAZING is that?  It’s almost like clockwork, every 3 weeks or so Aunt Flow visits me, I feel so normal… it’s amazing. I can’t get over how this little bottle of miraculous goodness has completely changed my body, and my life, for the better.

    • I did for a very long while, then I had a 3 month hiatus with the period… I then had a 3 month long period… >.> haha… It did completely regulate me for a very long time though, then my body decided to just revolt and do what it wanted. I’m getting back on track now though.

  2. Hi Kelly! I’m real intreasted in your post about Progessence oil, because I just started using mine (also Endoflex) Yesturday. I am 27 years old and till this day NEVER EVER had a NATURAL period! Because of PCOS which I found out I had in 2010. My first period was at the age of 14 thanks to birth control that a doctor told me to take. I would have them every month, but if I stop taking them, I would never see a period again, (even for years) At the age of 11 many horrible symptoms hit me.. I was very over weight, had acne, and a full beard! (Also hair all over my body) and no period.. That was the reason why I went to a doctor at the first place, because it felt like I was starting male puberty :-/ Anyways I just wanted to know If you started the same way as me because until this day I have never met a women which never had a natural period. Every PCOS woman I read about had normal periods in the begining of puberty around the age of 11 to 14 but then the periods never came back or they were very irregular (Secondary Amenorrhea).. But me on the other hand, I just simply never had one. Only If I take the pill.. (Pimary Amenorrhea) And since I just started these wonderful oils, I just hope to think that I will eventually get my first period! 😀 Because of course I would love to be a mother one day.. and also I just want to be and feel more like a ´´normal´´ woman.. Please tell me about you and your life with PCOS and if you know about anyone similar to my story please I would love to hear about it.. Thanks so much for reading! 🙂

    • Hey Vanessa!

I did have periods occasionally, but they were just so sporadic and irregular! I haven’t ever heard of any woman just not ever having one naturally at all, that’s very unusual! I have wrestled with this since I was 15-16 (I can’t recall how old I was when I first had my period)… it’s always just been here and there and everywhere. I had never ovulated naturally until I started using this oil blend though. So that’s a positive sign!

    • Hi! I had almost the same situation growing up, I had my first period at age 14 for 2 months then they stopped for months at a time and started again at age 16, then I was hospitalized because I had several cysts rupture at once, thank goodness I have a mother that doesn’t take any crap from doctors when it comes to her babies, and she stopped them from doing exploratory surgery, but instead opted for an ultrasound. Anyway I am 33 and still suffer from pcos and never have a regular period! My husband and I have been together for 10 years and would love nothing more than to have a family, Ive been gluten free for almost 2 years now and I’ve lost 35 pounds. And I had a period on my own this last month, but I would like them to continue and to hopefully get pregnant soon! We tried clomid and other fertility drugs and we’re not successful, but I would rather try it again but with natural resources this time around! So I really hope that all works well for you and you get your periods and feel like a “normal”woman! I want to feel the same thing too lol, no more balding and mustaches or tummy hair would be nice for a change Hahaha 😉

  3. Thanks so much for sharing your story. I also have PCOS and have been on some form of birth control since I was about 15 or 16. I had miserable periods and have been on birth control ever since. I most recently had a nexplanon (implant) and just had it taken out last month. I have purchased Progesterone Plus and can’t wait to use it! (My doctor told me to let my body do it’s own thing for a couple months-since it hasn’t for a long time). I was wondering if any one has had any luck with any oils to help with weightloss associated with PCOS. I am currently trying to take metformin and it has worked for me in the past to lose/maintain a healthy weight, but it makes me SO sick. I just bought EndoFlex and Ocotea, any other recomendations?

  4. Hello Kelly,
I am so very happy that I stumbled upon your story. I am 28 with PCOS. While you are fully aware of all the common symptoms and what a nightmare they are, I personally deal with the extremely irregular periods, acne, facial hair growth, weight gain, mood swings, and my favorite infertility. I am getting ready to order my first batch of essential oils, and was curious if Progessence Plus Serum was the only one you have been using, or do you use others for your PCOS as well? I read above where you said that you use it 2-3 times a day rolling it on your neck and the inside of your elbows. Do you use it straight, or do you dilute it in a carrier oil?
    Thank you, Kariann
